Mission Australia Funding

PDF Print E-mail
Face-to-face fundraising:

Face-to-face fundraising is one of the campaigns we run throughout the year, to sign up new donors, who help to provide much needed funds for our programs and services.

You can recognise our fundraisers from their red and white Mission Australia shirts. Our face-to-face fundraisers work in small groups, never alone and, have photo identification. Our fundraisers work in public places around major and regional cities.

Once a person signs up with a face-to-face fundraiser to support Mission Australia, they will receive a phone call within a few days to confirm their ongoing donation and to thank them for the invaluable support. If a person approaches you asking for a donation for Mission Australia and you're concerned they are not part of our fundraising team, please call us on: 1800 888 868.

Mission Australia also launches number of appeal campaigns throughout the year. These appeals are communicated to the Australian community using direct mail, opt-in email, brochure inserts into magazines and online banner advertising. Mission Australia relies on funding to provide over 450 services across Australia.

The funds we receive enable us to help thousands of Australian's in need find pathways to a better life.

We receive funds from the following avenues:

  • The Australian Government
  • Corporate Partnerships
  • Donations and Bequests (including face-to-face fundraising)

The Sir David Martin Foundation
