Citibank donation
On Saturday 7 November, staff, family and friends of Citibank held a community volunteer day. This involved staff donating a range of their items, then sorting and packaging them ready to be transported to the new Big Heart shop in Campbelltown. It was a highly successful day with over 40 staff participating and over $17K pre-loved retail value of items was donated.
NSW Volunteer of the Year Awards
One of Big Hearts valued volunteers; Steve Firman was recently presented with an Award commending his dedication and hard work as a volunteer. We congratulate Steve and are proud to see his hard work recognised at this level.
Career Connections Award
On Wednesday 18 November, Big Heart was presented with a Career Connections Award at the Illawarra Schools Vocational Training Awards 2009. The award was in recognition of our contribution to young people making decisions about their future.
Special Shopping Days
Across all Big Heart Shops, every Monday is Senior’s Day – on presentation of your Senior’s Card, receive 10% off; and every Tuesday is Student Day – on presentation of your Student Card, receive 10% off your purchases."

Big Heart also sells items on Ebay as a unique way to generate greater support and interest, not only on a national, but international level. This allows people who do not live in close proximity to our retail stores to also take advantage of the great bargains available through Big Heart. We aim in adding new items on a weekly basis.
