Gateway (TAS)

gateway_350pixMission Australia Gateway is a service that provides access to family, youth and disability support services.

Gateway can assist individuals and families through the provision of information and advice, brief intervention and referral to appropriate services. The staff at Mission Australia’s Gateway will work collaboratively with the individual or family to ensure their needs are recognised and appropriately addressed.

Mission Australia’s Gateway staff collect relevant information to establish eligibility, assess need and risk and determine the most appropriate service response. This could include referral to one or more of the following programs:

  • Local Area Coordination (LAC)
  • Integrated Family Support Service (IFSS)
  • Targeted Youth Support Service (TYSS)
  • Family Support for Grandparents and Relatives Raising Children.
