Integrated Family Support Service (TAS)

Integrated Family Support Service (IFSS) aims to provide vulnerable children and families with individual support promoting the wellbeing and safety of children and young people. IFSS offers families an outreached based service which, through talking together and identifying needs, aims to strengthen relationships, develop skills and facilitate referrals to appropriate services.

IFSS is a family support service for eligible families referred from Gateway. IFSS provides vulnerable children, young people and their families with a tailored approach to meeting individual and family needs. IFSS workers can provide a holistic range of case management services for children, young people and families. This includes: providing information, counselling, advocacy, supported referrals to appropriate services, facilitation of family meetings and skill development.
