Located in the northern suburbs of Perth, Jacaranda House is a hub for support programs that help people to find pathways away from homelessness. The following services are provided from Jacaranda House: Supported Housing Assistance Program (SHAP)This program provides Department of Housing tenants who are at risk of losing their current accommodation with appropriate support to maintain their tenancy and reduce the risk of eviction and homelessness. Open DoorsOpen Doors service supports young people aged 12 to 18 who are at risk of homelessness due to family conflict. The primary aim of the service is to prevent homelessness through support services such as family mediation and individual and family counselling. AOD Housing Support WorkerThe AOD Housing Support Worker aims to prevent people with drug and alcohol issues from becoming entrenched in homelessness by providing support to access and maintain stable long-term accommodation. Public Tenancy Support ServiceThis preventative service supports public housing tenants to prevent them from reaching the point of eviction. A Place To Call HomeA Place to Call Home provides 12 months of intensive support to people with a new public housing tenancy. Contact:Jacaranda House |
