Port Hedland / Pilbara Region (WA)

Pilbara Indigenous Youth Development and Mentoring Program

This service supports young Indigenous students in Port Hedland, Newman and the wider Pilbara region to improve their educational outcomes and gain sustainable employment, leading to increased participation at all levels of the regional economy.

The Youth Development and Mentoring Program aims to achieve these goals through individual and targeted support.

This Mission Australia program began in 2011 in partnership with BHP Billiton Iron Ore.
