Early Learning Services - our goals

Early childhood is a time of great discovery and growth, when the foundations for life and a love of learning are formed. This is why our centres are designed to be stimulating, natural environments that foster a sense of wellbeing, wonder and belonging.

Our dedicated staff work with families to provide a caring, fun and creative place for children to develop at their own pace.

Importantly, our centres reflect the diversity of the communities children are an important part of – as well as the individuality of each child.

Philosophy

Early childhood is a crucial time in the development of children and at our centres we work we work with children and their families to ensure the best possible start in life.

We provide a nurturing and natural environment where each child feels valued and safe to explore, create and communicate.

We believe a love of learning is one the greatest gifts you can give a child and our stimulating, natural learning environments are designed to encourage wellbeing, wonder and belonging.

Our fun, play-based activities give children the chance to express their ideas, imagine and experiment while learning. We also invite families to help us plan and develop a curriculum, according to their children’s unique personalities and needs.

Importantly, our centres reflect the diversity of the communities our children are a part of.

Children play a unique role in our communities, which is why we work with families and other local services to ensure our youngest citizens are given even opportunity to flourish.

• Provide access to early childhood, health and family professionals.
• Support working parents and those who want to study.
• Provide a place where parents can learn about supporting their child’s development and also share ideas and form friendships within the community.

We believe children and families play a unique role in communities. We aim to:

• Help the community to develop sustainably and advocate for its needs.
• Ensure children and families have the resources, support and environment to lead positive lives.
• Provide a space for community groups (with and without children) to meet.
