Our key goals:
Child-centric
We believe that children learn best when they feel safe, secure and valued. Mission Australia Early Learning Services aims to:
- Create a learning environment which provides fun, humour, joy, play, spontaneous events, excitement, fantasy, quiet time and security.
- Ensure children are challenged, extended and accepted individually across the key learning areas.
- Support children’s successful transition to school.
- Establish positive attitudes towards learning that will remain with them throughout their life time.
- Prepare children for adult life in which they will be able to be a well functioning member of the community who has had the opportunity to develop to their full potential.
Family focused
Mission Australia Early Learning Services recognises that parenting and managing the demands of everyday life is challenging. For this reason we aim to:
- Provide parents with support, encouragement and evidence based parenting information in order to assist them to be the best parents they can be and meet the unique needs of their child.
- Provide access to early childhood, health and family expert professionals in accordance with the needs of the child and their family.
- Provide parents with opportunities to participate in programs with other parents in the community.
- Support working parents and those who want to study.
- Provide a convenient and accessible location to learn more about parenting and young children’s learning and development.
- Provide children and their families with support and assistance in times of need.
Community connected
Mission Australia Early Learning Services believes that children and families play a unique role in the community and as such aims to:
- Provide the community with a strong voice about early child development programs and development outcomes of the community’s children.
- Help the development and sustainability of the local community.
- Support advocacy efforts to ensure that children and their families have the resources, services and environment that will promote positive wellbeing.

Mission Australia Early Learning Services believes that highly skilled, well informed team players are critical in providing a quality early learning service. Mission Australia Early Learning Services encourages staff to:
