Albert Music, one of Australia’s oldest music businesses signed a three-year partnership in 2005 with Mission Australia to support our Creative Youth Initiatives (CYI) Sounds of the Street music program.

In this unique partnership, Albert Music are providing financial support and giving students access to the expertise of its staff, artists and industry contacts.

Albert Music helped fund the construction and fitting-out of a new recording studio in Surry Hills. They have also played a leading role in re-developing the Sounds of the Street music course, incorporating music copyright law, recording and production, song writing, publishing and licensing.

Albert Music’s community partnerships demonstrate a commitment to supporting important social initiatives with a musical focus.
