Freehills has been working with Mission Australia since 1993. The partnership began with the establishment of the Shopfront Youth Legal Centre in inner city Sydney’s Darlinghurst.

Over the past 14 years, the partnership has expanded to other states and services and has become one of Mission Australia most significant and valuable corporate partnerships.

The focus of the partnership is largely based on pro bono support. This support provided by Freehills employees is valued at over $1 million per year. Freehills have also helped over 5000 Mission Australia clients by providing pro bono legal assistance.

Freehills runs various appeals throughout the year and provides hampers, warm clothing and toiletries to our services in NSW, VIC, WA and QLD. They have also provided Back to School Packs and Christmas presents to Pathways in QLD for the last two years.

The Freehills Foundation generously donated $100,000 to support our services across Australia in 2007. Mission Australia is also grateful to receive donations through the Freehills’ workplace giving program.
