George Weston Foods supports Pathways Family Nutrition Program - a national program with a focus on healthy eating and food choices among parents and their young children aged 0-5 years.

The program is delivered through Mission Australia’s Pathways to Prevention services located in the Inala and Carole Park areas in Queensland, the Liverpool local government area in NSW and Balga, Girrawheen, Koondoola, Westminster and Mirrabooka areas in WA. The program is also delivered through Communities for Children in Greater Dandenong - an early intervention and prevention service which helps families through critical phases in their lives.

The Family Nutrition Program helps families improve their diets and gives young children the start they need through healthy eating. It provides parents - many of whom are new to Australia – with an introduction to the best foods for themselves and their young children.

The broader benefits of the program include teaching parents how to save money at the supermarket and track spending on groceries.
