Mission Australia is one of the main charity partners in Qantas' community program, Sharing the Spirit. The program comprises an extensive calendar of events and activities aimed at bringing Australians together. Qantas has supported Mission Australia for nearly a decade through the provision of in-kind support including provision of flights, volunteering, workplace giving and assisting with advocacy by featuring Mission Australia in their in-flight magazines and videos.

In 2006, Qantas contributed $40 000 to Youthbeat - an outreach service for young people in Darwin and Palmerston who are on the streets at night.
