Teaming up with the Brisbane RoarMission Australia is honoured to be named the exclusive Charity Partner and official Community Partner of Hyundai A-League Champions the Brisbane Roar.

Mission Australia will also be the principle partner of the Brisbane Roar Youth Team, which will this season proudly wear the Mission Australia logo across the front of its playing strip.

The Roar promotes itself as a healthy, family-oriented sporting club, so it is closely aligned with our values and commitment to creating strong communities. It has an unrivalled association with junior sport involving both boys and girls right across Queensland.

“The Roar is serious about making a difference off the field, and we think the relationship with Mission Australia is a natural fit for us,” said Michael Bowers, Acting CEO Brisbane Roar.

“We have a young roster with an average age of 24. We want our players to understand their responsibility as role models, and be aware of their huge potential to influence and mentor young people in particular."

“Mission Australia will help guide our players and show them how they can make a difference in our community.”

Mission Australia also has a partnership with the Queensland Reds Rugby Union team, and we work together on a successful Indigenous Employment Program (IEP) program in Brisbane.alt
