The Mission Australia Centre in central Sydney aims to break the cycle of homelessness. The service provides varying levels of intervention through flexible, innovative responsive services, programs and support options with a particular focus on aboriginal homelessness. This groundbreaking centre is the first of its kind in Australia and provides a bridge to greater social and economic participation.
Pathways is an early intervention program for young children and their families. The project promotes healthy development, positive relationships and strong communities. Miller Pathways, located in South Western Sydney, provides supported playgroups, nutrition programs and a family resource centre.
Triple Care Farm (TCF) is a residential, treatment and vocational training program in the southern highlands of NSW for young people aged 16-24 with complex backgrounds. Triple Care Farm provides residential living skills, counselling and vocational training programs such as metalwork, woodwork and farming. Sports and recreation activities are also available at the farm. The service includes a post support program Stepping Out which ensures that the young person and their family continue to receive help and support after they have left Triple Care Farm.
Yirra - located in Perth - assists young people who are experiencing problems with substance use. Yirra offers two services: a day program and a 24 hour, seven days a week residential rehabilitation program.
Youth Futures provides a range of creative life skills, personal development and individual support programs to at risk young people, aged 13-25 in the Frankston Dandenong area, who are not engaged in education, employment or training.
Youth Beat provides a Youth Outreach Service to young people in the northern suburbs of Darwin, Katherine and the surrounding areas, who are on the streets at night. The service engages and connects with young people with the purpose of building relationships, providing information and referrals, and responding to crises.
