This publication outlines the creation, operation and initial outcomes of the Mission Australia Centre (MAC), a new model of crisis accommodation and support for homeless men located in inner Sydney. Driven by the community sector, the Mission Australia Centre initiative brought together a wide range of stakeholders – clients, practitioners, researchers, policy makers, business people, philanthropists, and the broader community – behind a new vision for working with homeless men which goes beyond meeting immediate accommodation needs.
