Gaining practical experience is an important part of study in the area of community service. Mission Australia is committed to training and developing new entrants into the sector by providing a quality internship program.
Mission Australia is interested in taking on students in the human services sector who are serious about a career in community services, and want to get real practical experience in the field. Ideally Interns should be able to complete their placement in a block period or on a set day over a period of time. This minimises disruption to our clients. If you are interested in gaining work experience in an office/administrative environment, please contact our Volunteering Team at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Unfortunately our internships for 2009 have already been placed and as a result, we are not able to take on any more interns - application information will be included here later in 2009 when positions become available. |
