The Pathways to Prevention Project is a collaborative initiative of Mission Australia and Griffith University. The aim of the project is to build capacity in the Inala/Carole Park area of Brisbane. This is achieved through the empowerment of children, young people and their caregivers, enabling them to participate more effectively in schools and the wider society, while working with the community to develop more inclusive, child friendly schools, neighbourhoods, community services and social policies. As a Child Counsellor/Group Worker you will:
Salary Range: $45,701 - $50,055 per annum depending on experience. Applications must address both the essential and desirable selection criteria. These positions require applicants to undergo a working with children check and to posses a current driver’s licence. A willingness to work within Mission Australia’s Values Statement is desirable.
