MA Housing is growing its presence in TAS, With 14 social dwellings and 19 affordable dwellings available in Hobart, and a number of new affordable renatal dwellings becoming available before December 2012. MA Housing is accredited against the National community Housing Standards.

Affordable housing eligibility
The Tasmanian affordable housing program is designed for people on low to moderate incomes.
Rent charged is around 75% of market rate. Current eligibility limits for affordable housing are available on the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA) website.
Social housing eligibility
MA Housing currently has social housing in New South Wales and Tasmania. This program is designed for people who are eligible for public housing.
Rent charged is 25% of income plus 100% of Commonwealth Rent Assistance (CRA). Current eligibility limits for public housing are available on the Housing Tasmania website.
