For further information please click here.We hope to acquire more housing stock in the next 12-24 months and as such Waiting Lists for both the general housing program and affordable housing program are open to eligible applicants. Applicants will need to complete an application form for housing and supply supporting documentation (i.e. income details, support letters) to Mission Australia Housing Victoria. The application will then be assessed by a Housing Manager and applications that have been approved will be put onto the waiting list for housing. A letter will be sent to each applicant advising them of the outcome of their application. As properties become available, applicants who are active on the waiting list will be contacted and provided with an opportunity to view the properties. General Housing Waiting List The general housing program managed by Mission Australia Housing is designed for applicants already on a waiting list for public housing. Applicants must provide proof of being active on the public housing waiting list in Victoria, along with income details and proof of identity. Affordable Housing Program The affordable housing program managed by Mission Australia is designed for applicants whose income may be over the eligibility limits for public housing in Victoria, but are still on low to moderate incomes.
