Mission Australia & Dandenong Plaza invite young people aged 12-25, to participate in a unique & popular talent competition, Urban Quest 2008. CATEGORIES: •Vocal •Dance •Street (Rap / Beat Boxing) IMPORTANT DATES: Applications close -- Friday 14th March 2008 Workshop -- Wednesday 26th March 2008 Pre-screening -- Thursday 27th March 2008 Heats -- Thursday 3rd April 2008 Grand Final -- Saturday 5th April 2008
PRIZES: Prizes will be given to 1st and 2nd place winners of each category at the Grand Final. A Peoples Choice Award will also be given at the Grand Final. The prizes are not yet finalised but are usually paid performances or recording time or paid lessons or a gift voucher. Each participant will be given a certificate of participation after the event. FEES: There is a non-refundable fee to enter the Event. The fee is $10.00 per first participant and $5 per additional person of a group. Please follow the table below: Single participant / 1 member=$10, 2 members = $15, 3 members = $20 4 members = $25, 5 members = $30 6 members = $35 7 and more = $40 If paying by Cheque: Please make the cheque payable to Mission Australia PRIVACY STATEMENT: All information collected by Mission Australia will be used for the purpose of this event only, unless otherwise authorized by applicant(s).
