At Mission Australia Employment Solutions we’re all about great service at no cost. Whether you’re looking to hire new staff, or if you’re interested in apprenticeships and traineeships, or if you want to give your staff more skills, we can help.

Last year we worked with over 40,000 employers we’ve placed over 200,000 people into jobs over the last three years. With offices in 93 locations right around Australia, we can help you with your recruitment whether you’re a small family business, or if you’re a big multi national company.

How do we provide services at no cost?
We receive our funding from the government, which means you can use your money and time on what matters most – your business!

So how can we help you?
We like to make life easier for employers. But what does that really mean for you? To answer, let’s briefly take you through the process:

  1. Your own personal consultant discusses your individual needs with you.
  2. We help you to develop the right selection criteria for your available positions.
  3. We screen all potential candidates against your criteria, and only recommend them to you for an interview if we feel that they are suitable for your business.
  4. Once you’ve successfully accepted a candidate, we’ll even follow up to see how your new employee is progressing.

In the past when you’ve advertised jobs, you may have received an unsorted pile of resumes from people looking for work. We will listen carefully to your needs and only refer candidates we believe are right for you. We’ll also help guide you through the recruitment process, and help with any paperwork that needs to be done.

Access to wage subsidies and other government financial assistance. We can offer you wage subsidies to help some candidates get back into work. This includes parents with carer responsibilities, as well as people with disabilities, and young people who have been doing study or training before starting work. Wage subsidies can help you with the costs of training, development and wages in the first few months of employment.

You may also be able to access financial assistance for workplace tools and equipment that are not already covered by you as a condition of employment.

Have use of our facilities. We can assist you by arranging interview times, provide interview rooms at no cost to you, and participate in the final interview if required.

Access apprenticeships and traineeships. If you are interested in an apprentice or trainee, we can help you access traineeship eligible job candidates. Through our Australian Apprenticeships Centres, we can also explain and help you to access the financial incentives that are available.

employment_workerTrial new employees without any cost to your business. We can provide you with work experience candidates. This allows you to hire staff on a trial basis, and also enables you to train staff in the operation of your business before committing to a paid salary (Note: not available in S.A.  Please refer to your Sales Representative for availability).

Receive a fast turnaround. We’ll respond to you within 24 hours of your vacancy lodgement. We’ll also provide feedback on progress at least every 48 hours, or at intervals that are convenient to you. For more urgent vacancies, we can contact you more regularly.

The Australian Apprenticeships Access Programme.
