If you have a disability, injury or health condition and you’re looking for work, we can provide you with tailored services to help you find and keep a job.

We’ll work with you to manage the barriers you face in getting a job. If you need training to develop new skills, we can help with that too. In fact, we’ll do everything we can to help you find a job!

We’ll help you prepare a professional resume, help you with job search techniques and update you on local opportunities.

Access to Employers
With an extensive employer network, including some of Australia’s best known employers, Mission Australia Disability Employment Solutions can source quality jobs that match your capabilities and long term goals.

We specialise in placing people in positions across many varied occupations and industries including retail, hospitality, manufacturing, construction, office administration, clerical, harvest and rural, to name just a few. We also have up to date information on Australian
Apprenticeships.

Tailored and Ongoing Support*
We’ll assess your new employer, to make sure the work is suitable to your injury or condition. We’ll also provide ongoing support for up to six months, to help you to settle into the workplace. If you need it, we can also provide flexible ongoing support for longer periods.

We can even provide information, support and training to your new employer and colleagues, to help them to adjust to your condition.

Depending on your circumstances, we can also assist your employer to access additional support to help modify your workplace, or to introduce specialised technologies or services.

  • Personalised service tailored to your needs.
  • Professional development assistance to help you build your confidence if you’ve been out-of-work for some time that may include training, work experience, or other services.
  • Training programs available to upgrade your skills and abilities.
  • We match you to jobs that best suit your skills and abilities.
  • We provide financial assistance* in some situations to assist with things like travel, work clothing and essential work tools.
  • We can assist you to prepare a professional resume.
  • We provide interview tips and interview preparation.
  • Information on how to access job search facilities (computers, internet, phones, fax, printers).
  • We provide help marketing you to employers in your local area.
  • We provide ongoing support once you find a job to make sure you settle in.
  • Access to an interpreter, if you need one.
  • Assistance with accessing a range of other support services, depending on your personal circumstances.

* The level of ongoing support and Workplace Modification Scheme will be determined by the results of an Ongoing Support Assessment (OSA).
Mission Australia Employment Solutions will make applications for funding through the Employment Assistance Fund (EAF) to Job Access on your behalf.
