If you’re 18 or over and receiving Centrelink benefits, you can volunteer for Work for the Dole.  Work for the Dole can help you gain new work skills in demand areas, valuable work experience, and references from supervisors all while doing something worthwhile for the community.

You can also earn training credits up to $800 to help you achieve your future job goals.

To find out more, ask your Job Network provider for a referral, or simply contact the Community Work Coordinator in your area.
