One of the most inspiring relationships for Mission Australia is with the Vincent Fairfax Family, which extends back to the very beginnings of the charity.

The Honourable John Fairfax M.L.C., the Great Grandfather of Sir Vincent Fairfax, was one of the founders of Sydney City Mission in 1862. Since this time, the Fairfax family and the Vincent Fairfax Family Foundation has had an active role and involvement in our work.

The Vincent Fairfax Family Foundation, founded in 1962, was instrumental in enabling Mission Australia to set up two of our flagship services - Triple Care Farm and Fairfax House – and has supported a number of programs and services over the years. The generous support of the Foundation has played a vital role in the continuation of Mission Australia, helping thousands of Australians to build brighter futures for themselves.
