In Memory of a Loved One

A special way to honour a loved one when they pass away is by setting up a donations in memory fund with Mission Australia. Instead of sending flowers, family and friends can make a donation in memory of their loved-one’s life.

How to organise donations in memory of your loved one

The funeral director can organise this for you. They will contact us for a supply of special donation envelopes that will be available at the funeral. Alternatively, we can send these directly to family members. We will send a thank-you card and receipt to every person who makes a donation in memory. An acknowledgement card will be sent to the family, along with the names of the people who made a donation. If you wish to receive in memory donations when you die, it may be helpful to inform your executor or include instructions in your Will.

Special tribute funds – in memory of a loved one

There are other ways that you can honour the memory of a loved one:

  • Memorial Funds with regular donations
  • Donations annually in memory of a loved one

If you would like any more information about donations in memory or other special tribute funds, contact us today.
