Corporate Volunteering Opportunities

How does corporate volunteering work?

Mission Australia’s corporate supporters help us in so many ways – from guiding our advocacy work to providing hands-on assistance with renovation projects, outings and celebrations.

Our Corporate Engagement Coordinator works with corporate supporters to identify the services that would best suit their organisation’s skill set, talents and philosophy.

If your corporate team is interested in volunteering, our Corporate Engagement Coordinator will:

  • Organise a date for the project suitable for both the volunteers and the community service they are interested in assisting
  • Provide a project scope for the team leader, outlining the objectives, equipment and required logistics;
  • Provide a briefing session for all volunteers during the week prior to the project, where the appropriate OH&S and registration forms are required to be completed.
  • Corporate volunteers, under the direction of a designated team leader, are responsible for:
  • Provide funding for all equipment required to complete the project;
  • Fundraising, if necessary, for the purchase of equipment;
  • Committing to the project and completing it to the best of their ability.
