About
The Dubbo Family Support Service works with vulnerable families with children aged 0-18 years, providing a broad range of early intervention services. The service aims to address the challenges faced by families and in doing so prevent issues escalating to the point that more intensive intervention is required. Families are generally supported by the service for around three to twelve months.
Who we assist
Families with children between 0 - 18 years experiencing low to medium risk issues that can be addressed by providing appropriately targeted supports through case management, parenting programs, education and skills training.
Eligibility criteria
Families with children between 0 - 18 years experiencing low to medium risk issues that can be addressed by providing appropriately targeted, short term supports.
Referral process
Families are able to be referred to the Program through Community Organisations or Self-Referral.
