About
Newcastle Community Development supports local community organisations and networks to strengthen collaboration, build capacity, and plan strategically to improve outcomes for children, families and young people. The program brings people and services together to share expertise, identify local needs and deliver coordinated, place-based responses across the Newcastle Local Government Area.
Eligibility criteria
The program is focused on the Newcastle LGA and welcomes representatives from local non‑government services and government agencies, including neighbouring LGAs where relevant (for example, Lake Macquarie). Participation is open to organisations and networks working to support children, families and young people.
