About
Communities of Focus Whyalla is a place-based initiative that works alongside the local leadership and decision-making group HOPE Whyalla, and its collaborative members. We aim to builds skills, strengths and aspirations that exist within a community to build cohesion, collaboration, and motivation, working across funding and program boundaries to catalyze innovation and create positive community change. Mission Australia works as the backbone to coordinate activity, develop a common vision, facilitate strategy, and build community capacity for a period of 10 years.
Who we assist
Whyalla is a community in regional South Australia whom Mission Australia has been supporting through a range of programs and services for over 20 years. Mission Australia is working directly with HOPE Whyalla, a collaborative community leadership group and the broader community and neighborhoods of Whyalla.
