About
Tailored Learning provides customised programs and support to young people aged 13-25 years who are enrolled in school but disengaged (or at risk of disengagement) across the Whyalla region. Through Case Management and support, Tailored Learning addresses issues including juvenile justice involvement, learning challenges, bullying, social issues, and family challenges to help young people remain engaged, or re-engage, in education.
Who we assist
Young people aged 12-20 years old who are enrolled in school but are disengaged or at risk of disengagement.
Referral process
Students are referred to Tailored Learning Whyalla Secondary College through the Tailored Learning enrolment process. Students are Tailored Learning enrolled based on assessment against the Dfe tailored learning engagement matrix and demonstrate barriers to accessing mainstream education.
