The Pre and Post Release Support Service (PPRSS) partners with individuals preparing for release from prison within the next three months who are motivated to successfully reintegrate into the Katherine and surrounding communities.
PPRSS continues to walk alongside participants after their release, providing ongoing case management support as they build positive connections, strengthen life skills, and re-establish themselves within the community. This strengths-based support empowers participants to create new opportunities, reduce the risk of reoffending, and work towards achieving their personal goals for a brighter future.
Who we assist
This service supports individuals over the age of 18 preparing for release from prison within the next three months who are motivated to successfully reintegrate into the Darwin, Katherine, and Alice Springs communities.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for this service clients must be in the prison system and due for release within 3 months of referral
Referral process
Participants can be referred by the Prison, Self-Referral and External Services via email, call or formal referral.
