How do I apply for a home with Mission Australia Housing?
Are you working, but on a low to moderate income?
Mission Australia Housing provides affordable housing to individuals or families on low to moderate incomes who are having difficulty securing housing in the private rental market. It is designed for working households and the rent we will charge you is up to a maximum of 80% of market rate.
If you would like to apply to Mission Australia Housing’s affordable housing program, we will need to check whether you and your income meet the program guidelines.
Information on the guidelines is available on the Department of Families and Communities (FACS) website
It can be a bit confusing as different affordable housing programs have different criteria. Our housing staff are here to help and are more than happy to chat to you about this.
