This sub-report compares the Youth Survey responses of young people living in major cities against those living in non-metropolitan areas. In 2019, over 15,000 young people resided in major cities, while nearly 9,000 young people were living in regional Australia.

This report considers the responses of young people who agreed that alcohol and/or drugs are a problem for my family/peers in Youth Survey 2018, compared with those who answered neither/disagree.
