STAR4Kids ('Support Them to Achieve Resilience') provides short-term, evidence-based psychological services for children aged 3 to 12 years of age assessed as having definite or substantial signs and symptoms of an emerging mental disorder or at risk of developing a mental disorder and living in the Liverpool area. The program provides both individual and group services (in selected schools) staffed by qualified mental health professionals. Delivery of group services in schools is identified by the PHN across Liverpool, Bankstown, and Fairfield area. Eligibility for services is by referral only through a GP, paediatrician, psychiatrist or Primary Health Network (PHN) identified referrer.
