Flexible Learning Options (FLO) provides customised programs and support to young people aged 10-20 years who are enrolled in school but disengaged (or at risk of disengagement) across the Southern Adelaide region. FLO addresses issues including juvenile justice involvement, learning challenges, bullying, social issues, and family challenges to help young people remain engaged, or re-engage, in education. The case management and learning options of Learning Unlimited work together to help ensure that learning options are tailored to the young person and available no matter their current situation.

Who we assist

Young people aged 15 -21 all of which are specifically FLO referred by their home school to MA for FLO services under the MA SA FLO Approved Panel of Preferred Providers deed with the SA education department DECD.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for this service young people need to be identified by their school of enrolment as eligible for FLO referral (determined by examining the young person's barriers to education and engagement) and specifically FLO referred to MA for FLO services (case management and / or FLO programming) by their home school.

Referral process

The FLO student must be formally referred to MA by their home school with this referral confirming both the location of the service (ILC or FLC) and the exact nature (FLO case management, FLO programming or both) of the service required.
