The Community Wellbeing & Healing program provides culturally appropriate wellbeing and healing programs, and activities in partnership with Larrakia Nation. The Community Wellbeing and Healing program is part of the Darwin – National Suicide Prevention trial. We work towards improving outcomes for individuals and families so they can feel supported and empowered to thrive within their community, improving sense of belonging within a positive community, and enriching social connectedness.

Who we assist

Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander youth, families, individuals and elders living the greater Darwin region.

Eligibility criteria

Persons identifying as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
Aged 16+ years
Have been affected by suicide
Live in the Greater Darwin Region

Referral process

Referrals can be made by:
Family member
Carer
General Practitioner
Psychologist
Caseworker
Other Service Provider
Self-refer
