Mission Australia Communities for Children (CfC) is an early intervention and prevention program that aims to improve the development, health and wellbeing of children aged 12 and under by addressing local needs and encouraging community participation. As the Facilitating Partner in Yarrabah and Cairns South, Mission Australia supports a network of place-based community development, and early intervention and prevention programs aimed at giving children the best possible start to life. Community Partners are subcontracted to deliver these programs and services in the community.

Who we assist

We assist children who are 0-12 years old and their parents/carers, families.

Eligibility criteria

We assist children aged 0-12 years and their families who live between Earlville and Gordonvale, including Yarrabah.

Referral process

We receive self-referrals as well as referrals by government agencies and case managers of community service organisations.
