Located at Mission Australia's service hub in central Dandenong, Youth Learning Pathways supports young people aged 17-25 years who are either engaged in, or at risk of entering, the criminal justice system. The program aims to support young people to live a more connected and meaningful life through restorative justice, health and wellbeing supports, and education and training programs leading to employment. Young people develop an Education & Training Plan and undertake a range of pre-accredited and accredited education and training programs whilst receiving wraparound case management support to underpin their ongoing engagement in the program. Youth Learning Pathways supports young people residing in Dandenong, Casey and Cardinia.

Who we assist

Young people aged 17-25 years residing in the cities of Greater Dandenong, Casey and Cardinia who are currently engaged in youth crime prevention programs, identified as being at 'high risk' of engaging in criminal behavior or those exiting from the youth justice system.

Eligibility criteria

There are 3 priority cohorts for this program;
Priority 1: 17-25 year old young people who are currently engaged in crime prevention programs
Priority 2: 17-25 year old young people who are identified by community organisations in the region as being at 'high risk' of engaging in criminal behavior
Priority 3: 17-25 year old young people who are held within the justice system and referred to the program by the Victoria Police when released
