Mission Australia's Family Day Care Western Sydney provides education and care in the homes of trained and registered educators in the Penrith and Hawkesbury LGAs. The service is available to families with children under 13 years, providing education and care that meets the family's work, study and respite needs. A coordination unit is responsible for monitoring and supporting registered educators in their homes. Families can self-refer to the service, or be referred by local services.

The only eligibility is parents requiring child care for their children for whatever reason - work, study, respite, referral from other organizations
