Mission Australia Family Day Care South West Sydney (formerly Liverpool Family Day Care) provides quality child care and education in the homes of registered Educators. Educators are recruited and supported by the qualified staff from the Coordination Unit. All educators use the Early Years Learning Framework in developing learning experiences. We believe in developing partnerships with parents to develop learning programs responsive to children's ideas, interests, strengths and abilities. Educators are visited regularly by qualified staff from the coordination unit who provide ongoing support, professional development and supported playgroups.

Who we assist

Family day care is a unique form of child care where trained and qualified educators provide quality and flexible child care in their own home. In small groups, children 0 - 6yrs of age participate in an early learning program that reflects the interests of each child. Each educator is registered with Mission Australia and is supported by staff through home visits, professional development and training. Before and after school care and vacation care is available for children from 4 -13 years. School aged children enjoy a home environment to socialise, relax and play.

Eligibility criteria

The only eligibility is parents requiring child care for their children for whatever reason - work, study, respite, referral from other organisations.

Referral process

Self-referral, through word of mouth and local advertising.
