While families across Perth come together to celebrate, smile and enjoy each other’s company this Christmas, we mustn’t forget those who are experiencing homeless, disadvantage or loneliness. For these people in our community, Christmas can be an extremely difficult time of year.

Now in its 42nd year, Christmas Lunch in the Park aims to reach these individuals and offer them compassion, companionship and celebration on Christmas Day. Centred on a traditional shared Christmas lunch, the event ensures individuals receive the support they need on the day and into the future, if required.

Volunteer

Christmas Lunch in the Park is supported by over 250 passionate volunteers who generously donate their time, energy and expertise in the lead up to and on Christmas Day.

The event attracts a large number of people wishing to volunteer, and while we would love to include everyone, we have limited places available. This ensures we can provide volunteers with meaningful roles and deliver a safe event.

Donate

Christmas Lunch in the Park relies on the generous donations of everyday Australians like you. Your support helps to make Christmas Day joyful for people experiencing homelessness, disadvantage and loneliness.

Along with a traditional lunch in the company of others, every adult receives a care pack containing essential personal items and every child receives a present from Santa.
