Our impact in 2021
Together we provided safe, secure and affordable homes to more than 6,000 residents in 2020-21. In addition to this we:
- In 2021 Mission Australia housing responded to COVID-19 with wellbeing calls, food hampers and PPE for vulnerable tenants.
- Opened 19 studio units in Kingswood for single women at risk of homelessness.
- Partnered in the City of Sydney’s Feed Sydney project, delivering 600,000 meals and 60,000 hampers during lockdowns.
- Began construction of 40 new apartments in Coffs Harbour, including 10 units for young people in the Duke Street Youth Housing Program.
- Secured transfer of 690+ properties in Tasmania, growing the state portfolio to over 1,250 homes.
