Our impact in 2022
Together we provided safe, stable and affordable homes to more than 6,900 residents in 2021-22. In addition to this we:
- Growth in Tasmania: Doubled housing portfolio through the Community Housing Growth Program, adding 681 social homes and commencing 31 new builds, plus a 48-lot subdivision in Rokeby.
- New developments: Opened a 40-unit social and affordable housing complex in Coffs Harbour, with 10 homes dedicated to young people.
- Support services: Expanded Tailored Support Coordination Service (TSCS), assisting 170+ tenants to stabilise housing, improve wellbeing and increase community participation.
- Community and resilience: Delivered tenant-driven initiatives like community gardens, tool libraries and COVID-safe programs; 75% of Common Ground tenants took part in the “Lived Experience” leadership program.
- Innovation: Progressed Midtown MacPark in Sydney (1,000+ homes planned) and launched digital system “Cx” to improve tenancy services
