Our impact in 2023
Together we provided safe, stable and affordable homes to more than 6,500 residents in 2022-23. In addition to this we:
- Scale and reach: Provided 3,876 homes across NSW, QLD, TAS and VIC, housing 6,589 residents, including over 1,500 people with disability and 664 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander residents.
- New housing: Delivered 29 new homes in Tasmania, completed a 47-lot subdivision in Clarence Plains, and advanced major projects like Midtown Macquarie Park (389 apartments) and Townsville Youth Foyer (40 apartments).
- Tenant wellbeing: 74% overall tenant satisfaction, with strong improvements in complaint handling, neighbourhood improvements, and quality of life.
- Community programs: Expanded Tailored Support Coordination (80+ tenants assisted, 75% secured sustainable housing), grew tenant committees, and ran initiatives like Tool Libraries, Home Handy workshops and Lived Experience leadership programs.
- Resilience and partnerships: Responded to natural disasters and maintenance backlogs with $14.7M investment in repairs and upgrades, while strengthening collaborations with governments, developers and NGOs.
