Duncan Rintoul

Duncan Rintoul was appointed as a Director of Mission Australia on 29 July 2025. He has been a member of the Service Impact Committee since 2023.

Duncan is an established social researcher, evaluator, facilitator and trainer. He brings over 25 years’ experience across a range of policy areas and methodologies and has a keen interest in building organisational capacity for evidence use.

Duncan is the founder and Managing Director of Rooftop Social, a consulting firm whose mission is 'evidence for good'. He is also an Industry Fellow at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), a Fellow and former Director of the Australian Evaluation Society and a former pastoral care representative on two Human Research Ethics Committees at the University of Wollongong.
