Zone In aims to provide the young people of Canterbury Bankstown LGA with a space to go with their education problems and receive individualised support. This help centre will allow young people to access qualified volunteers to support them through assessment tasks or assignments or any issues they are having within their school or tertiary education environment.

Common Ground is social housing complex in Sydney’s inner-west that is managed by MA Housing. It aims to support people who have experienced homelessness and low-income earners to improve their quality of life. Common Ground needs volunteers to help with our Food Box Packing Services.

Common Ground is social housing complex in Sydney’s inner-west that is managed by MA Housing. It aims to support people who have experienced homelessness and low-income earners to improve their quality of life. Located on site, the Common Ground community garden aims to teach our residents the social and health benefits of growing vegetables.

Mission Australia Residential Aged Care -  Surry Hills and Redfern, NSW 
Charles Chambers Court and Annie Green Court provide secure accommodation and support for elderly people who have experienced significant disadvantage and challenges, including homelessness. We are looking for a passionate volunteer choirmaster/singing teacher who can commit to an hour a week at Annie Green Court and one hour a month at Charles Chamber’s Court.

2 x Art Therapist/Teacher, NSW

A Woman’s Place - Darlinghurst, NSW
A Woman’s Place provides immediate accommodation and holistic support to single women who are homeless or at risk or being so. The service offers case management and life skills activities to help women change their lives for the better. Mission Australia Residential Aged Care -  Surry Hills and Redfern, NSW missionaustralia.com.au/residentialagedcare Role description Charles Chambers Court and Annie Green Court provide secure accommodation and support for elderly people who have experienced significant disadvantage and challenges, including homelessness. We are looking for an art therapist/teacher to run art activities at both of our Sydney aged care centres. Must be able to commit to two hours a week at Annie Green Court and one hour a month at Charles Chambers Court.

Community Connections, Southern NSW
Mission Australia needs volunteers to support its Community Connections program. This service helps disadvantaged people to gain and maintain stable housing. In its first year, Community Connections helped 468 people back on track. If you’re interested in helping, we can provide all the equipment and transport you need.

Catalyst Clemente Learning Partner WA

Catalyst Clemente - Mission Australia Wattle House, Maddington WA
Catalyst Clemente offers free socially supported university education in the humanities, delivered in a community setting for people who are experiencing significant life challenges, including homelessness. The program’s Learning Partners support students’ capacity to learn through mentoring, encouragement, active listening, constructive feedback and assistance with information gathering.

The subject on offer in Semester 1 is Introduction to Journalism.

Home Tutors, Sydney

Description
Become a home tutor and teach basic English to a newly arrived migrant or refugee in their home for one hour a week for a minimum of 10 weeks. 
Volunteers are needed for our Home Tutor Scheme and Enhancement Program throughout Sydney (except the northern suburbs).

Pilates Instructor, Sydney

Description
We are currently seeking a Pilates instructor to volunteer at the Mission Australia Centre. The session would run on once a week for an hour (we are flexible on the day and time) and the sessions would be ongoing.
The session will help our clients develop core strength as well as help with the personal relaxation process.
