What is Rebuild Universal Aftercare?
Mission Australia’s Rebuild program provides compassionate, person-centred support for people impacted by suicide or suicidal distress. We have skilled workers based in Mount Barker, Murray Bridge and Mount Gambier, supporting people aged 16 years and over, across these regions and surrounding communities.
Our service is informed by lived experience. We employ workers who draw on their own experiences of mental ill-health, distress and recovery, alongside professional training, to support others with empathy, hope and respect. Our team also has access to cultural support from the Aboriginal Sobriety Group who can provide additional support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, if they choose.
Support can be provided in the way that best suits the person - in their home, at one of our offices, online, or another safe and preferred location. People can self-refer or be referred by someone they trust, including a family member, friend, GP or mental health professional, by using the link below.
