Christmas Lunch in the Park
Bringing hope, compassion, community and celebration to Perth’s most marginalised and disadvantaged people this Christmas.
About the event
Christmas Lunch in the Park (CLIP) is Australia’s longest-running and largest community-funded Christmas Day event for people experiencing homelessness, hardship, and social isolation. On Christmas Day, CLIP brings people together in a welcoming and festive environment, serving approximately 1,500 three-course meals while creating a sense of belonging, hope, celebration and connection for those who may otherwise spend Christmas alone.
CLIP offers much more than a meal, with gifts for children, care packs for adults, live entertainment, and a range of support services including chaplaincy, laundry and shower facilities, hairdressing, and family-friendly activities. Importantly, CLIP’s impact extends well beyond Christmas Day by connecting guests with community services and resources that support long-term wellbeing, helping guests build brighter and more independent futures.
