Volunteer at Christmas Lunch in the Park

Help create a Christmas where nobody feels alone.

A volunteer wearing a bright pink Christmas Lunch in the Park shirt stands inside an event space, with people and decorations visible in the background.

Since 1975, Christmas Lunch in the Park (CLIP) has been more than a meal, it’s a place of connection and compassion for people in Perth experiencing homelessness, vulnerability or disadvantage.

Each year volunteers, supporters and guests come together to share food, friendship and hope, creating a community where everyone belongs and no one spends Christmas Day alone.

Thanks for showing interest in volunteering at Christmas Lunch in the Park. Without you, this special lunch would not be possible.

Under 18?

Mission Australia is committed to volunteer safety and must follow our national volunteering guidelines. For this reason, we cannot accept applications from anyone under 18 at the time of volunteering.

Christmas Lunch in the Park is a busy, high‑needs environment, and volunteers must be fully focused on their duties. This means parents and guardians cannot supervise children while also meeting their volunteer responsibilities.

You are welcome to bring your children as guests on the day, but an additional adult (18+) must be present to supervise them at all times.

We understand this may be disappointing for families with younger children who wish to be involved, and we appreciate your understanding as we prioritise safety and care for everyone attending.
