Mission Australia housing calls for more 'Housing First' at Common Ground Sydney's five year anniversary
On Friday 4 November at the fifth anniversary celebrations of Mission Australia Housing’s Common Ground Sydney building in Camperdown, Mission Australia called for more Housing First models across the nation for people experiencing long term homelessness. The celebrations also coincided with the Housing and Homelessness Ministers’ Meeting in Sydney.
This Fathers’ Day, Werrington Dad Gafa Tinetalli will reflect on how a safe place to call home with extra supports has increased life opportunities available to his family for generations.
Thanks to community housing provider, Mission Australia Housing, the father of three and grandfather of one will be celebrating Fathers’ Day in social housing in Werrington surrounded by family.
NEW housing built in Frankston will offer some independence to younger people with disabilities who have previously lived in aged care nursing homes.
The housing in Lardner Rd was officially opened last Friday (16 October) thanks to an innovative collaboration between Monash University, Mission Australia Housing, the Summer Foundation and disability service provider Yooralla.
