This document reports on the research of the Catalyst Clemente study, 'Social inclusion through community embedded, socially-supported university education', funded through an Australian Research Council grant.
This publication explores opportunities for the development of social enterprise in Western Australia, undertaken by Mission Australia and the Western Australian Council of Social Service (WACOSS) during 2011. In 2015 a literature review, series of interviews and research was undertaken to include progress to date.
The Synergy Automotive Repairs Program (Synergy Program) is a diversionary social enterprise aimed at positively impacting the lives of young people involved in motor vehicle offending (e.g. theft, vandalism, hooning). In order to assess the impact of the program, a process evaluation of the initiative was commissioned.
Mission Australia collaborated with Youth Action and Uniting to explore the barriers experienced by young people in NSW. This report identify a series of recommendations to address these issues.
